The usual suspects: my ancient Sony Ericsson K700i, 5th Gen iPod 30GB, l’Occitane hand cream, vanilla lip balm, mirror from Muji, Gatsby facial blotters (powdered, not clear), lip tint, house keys with key chain bought in Melbourne (X for my Chinese name), Moleskine weekly planner + notebook, and Parker pen (love these). I usually carry my 2 year old Fossil slouchy handbag (favourite, with a handkerchief by Kenzo attached), but when I’m carrying the camera and lenses I switch to an Lowepro Orion Trekker backpack.

I was born in Singapore but now call Sydney, Australia my home. When not taking photos or maintaining my blog, some fancy piece, I like to cook with the BF, and jazz out to Django Reinhardt and the other jazz legends.

I love Amy's simple yet never dull approach to examining the world, whether in writing or photos, and these 52 weeks will be a welcome challenge to look at things differently. Current camera of choice is the Canon 5D, and some prime lenses.

I'm Amy, and I love to laugh. In my spare time, I learn trivia from crosswords, bake up a storm, and do random acts of kindness. On occasion, I write poems that induce smiles and induce smiles with my quirkiness. I have a little corner of the web at toastier.org where I enjoy warm and toasty socks.

Currently I rock the Nikon D40 and when I can, I shoot on film. By the way, my Sydney counterpart is a highly talented and wonderful person whose photographs speak thousands.
